Voices of Tea
Voices of Tea is a series exploring the quiet portals that exist within third spaces, shared tables, and the fleeting moments of stillness held within them. Deanna seeks to capture the contemplative energy of tea rituals and the subtle transformations that occur in spaces built for gathering, reflection, and connection.
Each piece reflects the intimacy of conscious presence, and the way communal spaces has the opportunity to reshape both the mind and the people within them. Voices of Tea is an exploration of memory, ritual, and the unseen emotional currents that make certain places, and tea, feel sacred.

Where the sky turns
Where the Sky Turns explores the many perspectives we may have, offering portals to new ways of being. This work often draws from the fluid, dreamlike nature of clouds; forms that shift between structure and chaos. In this symbolism, clouds become both grounding and destabilizing: reminders that nature can steady us into our own power while also reflecting the unpredictable systems we inhabit.

30 days of painting
30 Days came from a desire to wrap the new year around art, building ritual and devotion. A series done at the beginning of 2025, creating an acrylic painting each day, and following a new theme each week, 30 Days became a practice that Deanna often finds herself in -- expanding into 30 days of poetry, writing, and drawing..
